Our family joined the Lillifield in 1988, where we built and handcrafted our home. Coming originally from Germany, we had travelled all over Australia and decided that Lillifield was the right place to reside because we liked the people and the land. At that time there was a Steiner School starting just next door. I had studied the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner in Germany and loved his insight into ‘Soul’ and wholistic living.
My artistic work is very diverse and I draw from archetypal imagery, esoteric studies, my interest in philosophy and psychology as well as my perception of enviro-cultural realities.
Besides working on my own oeuvre, I have contributed to the local artistic development by teaching wet-on-wet watercolour classes and old masterly techniques for many years.
